On Thursday 16th August 2018, Xiamen Air flight MF8667 carrying 8 crew and 157 pax suffered a runway excursion upon landing at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport (RPLL). It had already aborted the first landing attempt during heavy rain and thunderstorm; engine 1 (left) separated following the excursion. There were no injuries. As seen here, the wreckage is parked on the ramp at RPLL.
