Shoheed Abu Sayed Podda Bridge, Shariatpur, Bangladesh

South toll plaza entrance to the nearly 4 mile long bridge over the mighty Podda river. It was constructed by a Chinese contractor at a cost of US$3.6 Billion and paid for by the Bangladesh tax payer. Completed in mid 2022, the bridge connects the southern district of Shariatpur to Munshigonj in the north.
